all i want

i spent the better part of my college years babysitting for an adorable family. the mother was 100% german and had this super nifty plastic bag “dryer” that i was super impressed with. it spoke to my hippy heart. short from stealing it from them, i have been looking for one FOREVER. so. please buy me this. and buy one for your hippy friends. it’s only $20.

and i want these. for so many reasons. if you really like me, you would sew a little string for me to thread them through my coat. and if you really REALLY like me, you will find them in a size bigger than the S/M that is currently available. my mitts won’t fit in S/M mittens. in the meantime, i’ll probably buy them for someone i love so my envy can live a little closer.

these sorel’s are just plain fancy practical. A) i live in seattle. anything that scares the rain off is a good thing. B) i am terrified of the snow and i believe these will make snow less scary. C) they are pretty colors. D) i have long legs and these climb higher than most boots you’ll find. i wear a size 10. if they’re out of those, you can just go ahead and get a 10 1/2. i’ll even take an 11 and bulk up my socks if necessary. oh, and just imagine how cute i’m going to look at the chalet, in stockings and these boots with a toddy in hand. riiiiight?!

this is my dog. of course, i’d love another one. but, i’m not here to ask about that. instead - i’d like to start making money off this twisty, squirmy, lovey thing. i’m convinced she/we could win an agility contest. we just need some fine tuning and guidance. so, please pay for us to take these classes. i will officially thank you on the winners podium.

these are pretty. they will look prettier on my face. the price tag is much heftier than i expect anyone in my close circle of 76 facebook friends to purchase, so i’d settle for a similar - yet equally pretty - version if you were to come across one.

i have needed a mortar and pestle for 30 years. i don’t need a mini one because i intend to grind much more than herbs and salts. much. much. much more. i need a big one (that’s what she said). for mortaring and pestling things like granola and fish tacos. i will make it all with this device. if you give it to me, i will give you the first meal. you are welcome.

you could buy me any one of these prints. (but i particularly like this one.) just don’t get anything that looks like a star trek background or a sci-fi book cover. i intend to hang it in my house forever. probably my kitchen. and i don’t want to give people the wrong impression.

i wouldn’t complain. just sayin’

ok. if anyone could find a PLACE or a LINK to purchase anything that has Antonio Lopez illustrations in it, i would love you to pieces forever and ever until the end of time. and i’m not talking about the books on amazon that include one or two of his art deco-ey pieces. i want one of these late 60’s early 70’s illustrations that i can hang upon my wall. you don’t have to buy anything. you just have to show me where i can find the book/magazine/newspaper/cereal box and then i will buy it and then i will figure out a way to hang it in my house. forever. just like the magical space puppy love clouds i mentioned above.
